The East Wastewater Collection Division provides ongoing inspection and maintenance of the City's Lift Stations and Collection System to ensure continuous wastewater collection and transmission services to the residents.

The sewer inspection and maintenance program endeavors to prevent groundwater and rain water from entering the sewer system, which if not controlled, will take up valuable system capacities.

The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System makes it possible to remotely monitor and identify equipment and operational problems, so that corrective measures and repairs can be implemented in a timely manner, thereby preventing sewer overflows and back-ups.
