FACILITY RENTALS
The City of Miramar has a variety of rental opportunities. There are three community centers available to rent for birthday parties, receptions and meetings. You may also rent any of the shelters or pavilions at any City Park. Below is the list of facilities and fees along with contact phone numbers for each.
6% sales tax will be added to the rental amount.
Tax will be added at time of contract.
CIVIC CENTER

The Miramar Civic Center has two rooms available to rent. The theater has a seating capacity to sit 200 people (theater style) and 80 people (event seating) with a 41’ x 50’ stage. The stage is illuminated with multiple color spotlights. This air-conditioned room comes equipped with tables & chairs and is great for seminars, corporate meetings and small parties.
The Ballroom has seating capacity for 180 people. The 22’ x 18’ dance floor is great for those who like to kick up their heels. The 67’ x 40’ room with a 25’ x 11’ stage is ideal for business meeting, corporate functions, wedding receptions, sweet sixteen parties, and quinces. Our eight chandeliers provide the perfect atmosphere for all occasions. Included with ballroom rentals is a catering quality kitchen equipped to please even the most particular caterers.
Our kitchen has three electric ovens, one griddle top, and two stoves with six range top each. Our walk in cooler has enough room to store food and beverages. An a industrial dishwasher, ice maker and prep table that completes this professional kitchen.
The Sunset Lakes Community Center has three rooms available to rent. The Multi-Purpose & Senior Room has a seating capacity of 50. These air-conditioned rooms comes equipped with tables/chairs and is great for seminars, corporate meetings, and small parties. The Ballroom has seating capacity for 110 people. The 26’x 26’ dance floor is great for those who like to kick up their heels. The 47’ x 58’ room with a stage is ideal for business meetings, corporate functions, wedding receptions, sweet sixteen parties, and quinces. Our four chandeliers provide the perfect atmosphere for all occasions. Included with ballroom rentals is a beautiful kitchen equipped to please even the most particular caterers. Our kitchen has three electric ovens/stoves, dishwasher, refrigerator and an ice maker.
The Entrance to Miramar Regional Park is located 1 mile west of I-75 on Miramar Parkway. This 173-acre park consists of many exciting amenities to enjoy. There will be several development phases over the next 10 years. Phases I & II of the park are currently open, Phase I has 4 football/soccer fields and 2 cricket grounds. Phase I also has 2 playgrounds and 1 medium, 2 large, and 1 corporate pavilion’s for rentals. These pavilions are perfect for birthday parties, family barbeques, and corporate picnics. It also has 2 full size basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, 1 horse shoe pit, and an art exhibit area.

Depsoits are collected up front, when the permit is signed by the permit holder. The deposits are a separate fee fromt he rental and tax fees.
The Rental + Tax fees must be collected within 30 days prior to the date of the rental. Deposits are returned to permit holder only after their rental has taken place and the pavilion has passed the inspection. (The rates listed above are based on Broward County residency only. Residents of other counties must pay an additional 20%)
The Miramar Youth Enrichment Center has two rooms available to rent. The Multi– purpose room has a seating capacity of 50. This air-Conditioned room comes equipped with tables/chairs and is great for seminars, corporate meetings, and small parties.

MIRAMAR MULTI-SERVICE COMPLEX

The Miramar Multi-Service Complex offers a great location in that it is situated in the heart of South Florida, and is conveniently located for your guests and vendors. The Multi-Service Complex Banquet Hall fits your rental needs, no matter what the occasion. The hall will accommodate a variety of events from conferences and corporate events to wedding receptions and quinceañeras. This new facility opened in January of 2009 and is state of the art in design and utility. The ballroom is adorned with four beautiful chandeliers and includes a stage; drop down screen and full kitchen. This gorgeous space seats 200 guests with tables and chairs without a dance floor and 180 with a dance floor. Three hundred guests can be accommodated using auditorium style seating.
For those planning a more intimate gathering, the Miramar Multi-Service Complex also houses another ideal space. Our Multi-Purpose Room has a seating capacity of 50 and includes a counter and sink for those who wish to use it. The natural lighting and inviting atmosphere that this area offers are the perfect addition to your event.
